Dahlia La Manana 1996 Grulla Mare Registered Paso Fino An attractive grulla, "Dolly" has exceptional conformation and is of Monarca and Faraon lineage. Naturally pleasure gaited she has an easy, animated corto and largo yet transitions down to a flat relaxed walk instantly and willingly. She has excellent ground manners, shoes, bathes, and ties well. Loads in trailer and travels well. She has spent time turned out on a large acreage with a mixed herd of mares and geldings; yearlings to aged horses and “plays well with others”. She is solid and sure footed on the trail, not easily spooked nor barn sour. Has been ridden out alone and is not buddy sour. She handles man-made and natural terrain with sureness and ease; includes rocks, logs, steep draws, brush, live creek crossings, mud/bogs, wildlife and cattle. She is also accustomed to the ranch dogs & cats under feet. Dolly has had 1yr. Traditional, Nontraditional and Natural Horsemanship professional training. She has logged hundreds of hours on the trail with professional and amateur riders. She is light in her responses, willing, brave and wants to please her handler. She responds to rein and leg aides well but is more suited to riders who have a basic understanding of horsemanship techniques. She may become confused when continually faced with unclear aides and/or signals from unknowledgeable riders. She is current on worming, vaccinations, hoof & dental care. Dolly has one foal, a filly who garnered numerous Championships in PFHA Bella Forma classes as a 2yr. old in 2008. Her pregnancy was normal and foaling was uneventful. Serious inquiries only.
