OUR PRIVATE LESSONS taking place during the week between the NW Trail Championships & the Oregon Trail Challenge shows in Eugene, Oregon will be held on site at the Oregon Horse Center.  Many thanks go out to Major Defoe for generously allowing us once again, to accommodate our many students before, during, and after these important shows. We will be utilizing the Emerald arena practice area, as well as the newly formed outdoor practice obstacles.  Please be sure to get your lesson scheduled with us ASAP!!! We fill up fast and will not be making any exceptions to our TIGHT schedule this year (we need to eat & sleep too, although we could get a lot more accomplished if we could figure a way to eliminate those two things!).!!   Please be sure to get your show entries into Julie on time and reserve your stall in the MJ Rising H Ranch Team row before it fills!

STUDENTS IN THE NEWS

Last winter we made a trip to Stephenville, TX to coach our student Tammy Harty through Craig Cameron's Extreme Cowboy Race # V where she ended up placing Reserve Champion and is the highest placing women of the event, to date. Tune in to RFD TV on Oct. 1 for her first of three rounds.  Fifteen riders complete the first round, Tammy is the tenth rider to go.  Only eight make it to the second round, and only four advance from there to the final four where there toughest of the tough compete for the top spot.  You go Girl!!

CLINICS:

With only a few rider positions left in the remaining four clinics of the year, don't wait until the last minute to get yours!!!  Our clinic hosts have been working hard to ensure you will have the ultimate learning experience; Tammy Harty has been designing an Extreme Cowboy Course at Brasada Ranch in Bend, OR.  Nancy Cox of Powell Butte, OR has added many new obstacles to her course and has hundreds of BLM miles out her back gate,  The Wilder, ID location will utilize the obstacles course from the Idaho Mountain Trail Challenge (see pix above), and The Dalles,OR location has lots of natural obstacles as well as a new arena facility.
